Traditional methods that ensure reinforcement continuity between two concrete elements are time consuming and require complicated and ultimately expensive site adapted formwork. Stabox® rebar connection systems provide a fast, elegant and cost effective solution which allows formwork to be quickly erected and the concrete cast. After formwork stripping, the cover can be easily removed and the reinforcement rebent into position to form the starter laps for the next element.

The market proven combination of a micro-profiled sheet steel with a dovetail profile or trapezoidal box shape and roughened surface ensures a strong anchorage in the concrete. Due to the optimum geometrical shape of the profile Stabox® satisfies the highest requirements for transverse and longitudinal force transmission in the joint. Further benefits include:
